Prices Quoted include GST. To access 3G content you must have either a 3G compatible handset & SIM and be within a 3G coverage area, or a dual band compatible handset & SIM in a dual band coverage area. 3G handsets and devices will not provide you with access to 3G services in Optus dual band service areas where a dual band (2100/900 MHz) handset is required. Terms and Conditions

Mobile Broadband Plans include a set amount of data per month: Penny Data 500MB includes 500MB of Data, Penny Data 1GB includes 1GB of Data and Penny Data 2GB includes 2GB of Data for browsing the Internet from your mobile. System limitations may apply for some customers. Offer may be withdrawn at any time.

If you exceed your plan's included monthly data allowance, excess usage will be charged at $0.08 per MB. Any unused data allowance cannot be rolled over and expires each month. Your data allowance does not include services such as Voice calls, Voice Mail, International SMS, premium and Third Party SMS, MMS, and Third Party content and applications, International MMS, 1300, 1900. If you are able to access such services, your use of such services will be charged at prevailing rates. Data usage will be counted in kilobytes, where 1024kb = 1MB, 1024MB = 1GB and includes both uploads and downloads. The service is only available to customers within the 3G/HSPA or GSM coverage area and is subject to network availability, refer to www.optus.com.au/coverage. You need to have 2.5G or 3G network compatible mobile phone which is provisioned with the required settings and SIM to activate data use.

The USB Modem is the Huawei E1762; check for USB Modem compatibility with your PC or Laptop before you buy. The actual speed achieved will vary depending on a number of factors such as device capabilities, customer's location and equipment and network usage at the time.

*Valid during the More Mobile Data for Free promotional period only. Terms and Conditions as follows:

    1. The Promoter is PennyTel Pty Ltd.

    2. The promotion is open to PennyTel members who are both new and existing Penny Data users. If you are not yet a PennyTel member or Penny Data user, you can sign up at www.pennytel.com.au

    3. The promotional period is on now until 31st October 2010. To be eligible for the promotion, new Penny Data users must sign up on or before 31st August 2010. Existing users are automatically eligible and do not need to do anything. The promotion ends on your first billing date after 30th October, 2010.

      Examples

      If your billing date is 1st October, your promotional period ends on the 1st of November.
      If your billing date is 30th October, your promotional period ends on the 30th of November.
      If your billing date is 31st October, your promotional period ends on the 31st of October.

      4. This is regardless of whether you are a new or existing customer.

    4. During the promotional period, those who sign up to, or who are already using Penny Data, will get additional data allowance for no extra cost. Those on the

      1. $25/month plan will get 7GB of data (normally 2GB)
      2. $13.88/month plan will get 3GB of data (normally 1GB)
      3. $8.88/month plan will get 1GB of data (normally 500MB)

    5. Additional data usage on top of promotional allowances will incur standard charges as detailed on the PennyTel website.
